Boston, MA – In a hard fought battle the Granite lost late to the Boston Americans. After a few libations after the game the gents all went off in their own directions. However about 24 hours after the game the Granite’s own Mike “Utah” O’Connor changed the face of this nation. While the details have not been released yet it appears Utah was directly involved in the fire fight that lead to Osama Bin Laden’s death. Unable to be reached for contact Mike O’Connor released the following statement, ” I’d like to think all the little people for this moments, especially Flask for conserving my energy in yesterday’s game. I could not have done it without using the speed I have been holding out for years on the Granite. In 2 weeks we return to the field and will do so with a new mascot, Bin Laden’s [expletive] head. ” While news is still being pieced together this certainly may be the event that pushes the Granite into its first victory of the year.
